Division Updates & Options

• New K–2nd Grade Division: Designed as a fun, camp-style program focusing on basic skill-building, drills, and short weekly games.

  • Note for 2nd Graders: Competitive 2nd graders seeking a traditional practice and game schedule are encouraged to register for the 2nd–4th Grade division instead. If you aren't sure which level fits your player best, just reach out!

• 5th & 6th Grade Travel Teams: Ideal for players looking for a higher level of competition, additional practices, extra games, and tournaments. Tryout dates are TBD for late October—be sure to select your interest on the registration form so you receive updates.

• 7th & 8th Grade Rec Division: Back for its third year! Players planning to try out for the Manheim Central Middle School team should still register—if your player makes the school team, we will remove them from the Rec roster.

We Need Volunteers!

We cannot run this league without community support. Please consider helping us in one of the following roles:

• Head & Assistant Coaches: Minimal commitment (one 1-hour weekday practice and one Saturday game per week). Practice resources and guidance provided!

• 7th–8th Grade Division Helpers: We are actively seeking an organizer, coaches, and referees for this division.

Sponsorships & Donations – Keep Basketball FREE!

We anticipate nearly 200 players on the boys' side this year! Thanks to generous local support, we have never had to charge a participation fee, and we remain committed to keeping our programs 100% free.

• Sponsor a Rec Team: Just $125 sponsors an entire team!

• Business Tiers: Multiple sponsorship levels are available for both Rec and Travel teams.

• Individual Donations: Personal donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.
